Welcome to the Prayer Year of Vision4Life, the second of three years that we hope will start to transform the United Reformed Church, and our partners, for mission. We began with the Bible Year, and hope you enjoyed making some discoveries to refresh how you see the Bible and your life together.
If you’re new to Vision4Life you’re joining more than a third of the churches in the URC which have signed up. You can find out more here
The Prayer Year runs from Advent 2009 to December 2010, when the Evangelism Year begins. During Vision4Life prayer year we hope that we have provided something for everyone – a mix of things suitable for individuals, groups and churches.

24/7 prayerAs well as resources we are aware that prayer year must involve us actually praying. We are delighted that our young people are taking the lead in coordinating a 24/7-prayer event over Holy week 2010. This is the first time that the URC has ever been linked through prayer in such a way with a united chain of prayer across the nation day and night for a week. Perhaps you would like to take up the challenge may be for a time of sustained prayer or even just get on board for and hour or two. If you would like to find out more please look here or contact Heather Latimer at youth@urc.org.uk |

Hopes and Prayers
We have really valued the opportunity to discover more about prayer through our search for Vision4Life material and hope and pray that this year for you may also be a real blessing and bring a deepening of your prayer life too.
Vision4Life is a process which the United Reformed Church is following for 3 years from Advent 2008 through to Advent 2011. It is three years of focus on re-engaging with the Bible, Prayer and Evangelism with the purpose of bringing transformation to the URC and its partner churches. Take a look through the contents of the site using the menu at the top or select items from the Prayer Year menu to the right. You can sign up to the process as a local church or join in the forums as an individual. There’s lots to discover and the site grows week by week with resources, comment and news. Enjoy!
